Squadron Leader Bhawana Kanth has added another landmark to her distinguished Indian Air Force (IAF) career by completing the prestigious Fighter Combat Leader (FCL) course at the Tactics and Air Combat Development Establishment (TACDE) in Gwalior. In June 2016, Kanth became one of India’s first three women fighter pilots when she was commissioned into the fighter stream alongside Avani Chaturvedi and Mohana Singh. Inside The Elite Fighter Combat Leader CourseKanth’s latest achievement is the successful completion of the Fighter Combat Leader course conducted at TACDE in Gwalior. Besides the Fighter Combat Leader programme, the institution also conducts the Helicopter Combat Leader and Master Fighter Controller courses, integrating air-to-air combat, air-to-ground operations, electronic warfare and coordinated battlefield management.
