Except that the entire cast consists of AI-generated cats, dogs, pigs, and the occasional sheep delivering Oscar-worthy melodrama. What began as a niche trend has become a global one, colonising feeds one emotionally compromised cat at a time. It’s also made these AI-generated animals become recurring characters with fandoms of their own. The more unsettling part is how invested I am in the love life of an AI-generated cat.
