Stephanie Kim, EditorThe Department of Agriculture has placed a rule with local pounds that the animals that go to animal control (ACO) only have 12 days before they are euthanized. There are many cats and dogs currently in the local pounds that need to find their fur-ever homes. Below are the numbers for the local pounds. More information on the animals can be found on the ACO Facebook pages or Farmington Rescue Friends on Facebook. Farmington Rescue Friends is a group of volunteers that posts and coordinates to save strays that are currently in pounds and to find their new homes.
