The planned agreement builds on the Saudi Arabia-Pakistan defense pact signed in September 2025, which established a mutual security commitment between the two countries.
The new framework is expected to expand regional security coordination and deepen defense ties between Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan's army chief Asim Munir arrived in the kingdom on Thursday for a visit lasting until Saturday, while Erdogan is expected on Friday, according to the Turkish presidency.
