Cambridgeshire woman saved from campaign of abuse thanks to concerned neighbour

The victim had been locked out of her home on a cold evening last year by a man she had been seeing, who had become increasingly controlling.
The neighbour, worried for the woman's safety, called 999, leading officers to attend the scene.
They discovered the extent of the abuse, which began with constant calls and messages, escalating suspicions, and accusations of infidelity.
A police officer said: "It was a cold winter's evening last year when a neighbour spotted a distressed woman outside her home.
"The actions of a concerned neighbour helped bring years of abuse to light and ensured a victim got the support she needed."
