Yuki Kobayashi’s Rangers revenge as ex-Celtic man stars in Euro upset
['Martin Crawford']

Yuki Kobayashi will have enjoyed Jagiellonia Bialystok’s win over Rangers last night.
The ex-Celtic defender played 90 minutes as the Polish side secured a 2-1 upset win in the first leg of the Europa League qualifier.
It was a sweet revenge for Kobayashi, who spent a year on the books at Celtic in 2023.
Speaking before the game, Jagiellonia captain Taras Romanczuk hilariously said that Kobayashi never crossed the Clyde during his time in Glasgow.
He left Celtic in January 2024, moving to Portimonense in the Portuguese second tier, where he played alongside Camilo Duran.
