Six teams used the opportunity to test on the venue’s West Circuit that will be used for the AirTouch 500 on September 11-13. Rylan Gray (Dick Johnson Racing), Jackson Walls (Triple Eight), Zach Bates (Matt Stone Racing) and Jayden Ojeda (PremiAir Racing) all tackled rookie days. Team 18’s Supercheap Auto Camaro was on track for Bayley Hall’s wildcard test ahead of his debut at Ipswich later this month. Walkinshaw TWG Racing completed the line-up with a full day of running for its updated ‘B-spec’ Toyota V8 engine. Tickets are now on sale for the AirTouch 500 at The Bend, which opens the Enduro Cup ahead of the Bathurst 1000 in October.
