Internet customers are once again seeking answers after the latest in a long line of outages. One resident of North Road contacted The Shetland Times last night to ask whether there had been another cable break, which led to widespread and prolonged outages last year. TalkTalk has since confirmed it had received reports on Wednesday affecting customers in Lerwick. The power cut in early June knocked out Tesco’s internet services forcing the store to close for the rest of the day as well as the following morning. He told The Shetland Times he would investigate further, and later posted a notice on Facebook, asking whether people had been affected.
