The Netherlands is set for another warm and largely cloudless weekend, with barely a drop of rain likely for the coming week, according to forecasters. Friday will be calm and dry with temperatures of 21 to 25°, with morning cloud in the north east giving way to sunshine. Saturday will be sunny and slightly warmer, at 25 to 28°, before temperatures climb to around 30° inland on Sunday. A brief cooler spell will push maximums down to around 25° on Tuesday, but forecasters expect the warmth to return later in the week – without any significant rain. The dry spell means no let-up for the ongoing drought, which has pushed the Rhine to record low levels and prompted water use restrictions in several regions.
