Austria is heading for another week of hot summer weather, with the eastern parts of the country expected to face the highest temperatures. Many areas, especially central Austria and the northern side of the Alps, will see clouds and rain. The weekend will bring a mixture of sunshine, showers and storms. Saturday will start mostly sunny, although some clouds may linger in the south, southeast and mountain valleys. With temperatures again reaching 36 degrees in the east, a lasting end to the heat remains out of sight.
