Security forces kill 10 militants in KP operations

PESHAWAR: In a major setback to militant networks operating in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces carried out two successful counterterrorism operations in South Waziristan and Dir, eliminating 10 militants and recovering weapons and ammunition.
According to the ISPR, the first operation took place in the Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan, where militants attempted to target security forces’ check posts.

The military’s media wing said security forces and law enforcement agencies continue their counterterrorism campaign under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam to eliminate terrorism and restore lasting peace across the country.
The ISPR reiterated that operations against foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism will continue until such threats are completely eradicated.
