He was remanded in custody until 10 October 2025.According to prosecutor Ngonidzashe Shumba, the attack occurred on 14 September 2025 at around 8PM at Ndlovini Bottle Store, Bethel Business Centre, Guyu. He sneaked out, angering Masuku, who charged at him and pushed him," Shumba told the court.The confrontation escalated into a terrifying chase. The complainant reportedly fell to the ground but managed to rise and run before being pursued. "When the complainant fell and lay on his stomach, Masuku produced an okapi knife and stabbed him six times on the back, once on the left thigh and once on the right thigh. He also picked up a brick and struck him on the left cheek," Shumba added.Masuku allegedly fled the scene, leaving the victim badly injured.
