By PAVEL BAILEYTribune Staff Reporterpbailey@tribunemedia.netA MAN accused of seriously injuring two people with a knife and cutlass on Moore Avenue was denied bail yesterday.
Prosecutors allege Anphany “Penn” Knowles assaulted and seriously injured Kendal Pratt with a cutlass during an altercation on July 28.
Knowles allegedly assaulted and seriously injured Jean Joseph with a knife at the same location on August 2.
Knowles argued that he was a suitable candidate for bail, but Magistrate Serville denied the application and remanded him to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
The magistrate informed Knowles of his right to apply for bail in the Supreme Court.
