Dominican national denied bail over forged passport

Peralta allegedly obtained a Bahamian passport in his name by fraud on November 17, 2023.
He later allegedly presented the forged passport to a Bahamas Immigration border control officer on December 24, 2023.
Peralta was charged with two counts each of possession of a forged document, uttering a forged document and fraud by false pretences.
Magistrate Whyms denied bail and remanded Peralta to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
