The same defendant is awaiting trial for allegedly abusing seven male cadets at a Rangers camp in Eleuthera last summer. Cox is awaiting trial on eight counts of cruelty to children and two counts of indecent assault. He allegedly sexually and physically abused cadets aged 11 to 19 in Eleuthera between June 30 and July 19, 2025. Cox allegedly forced a 14-year-old male cadet to masturbate in the presence of his peers and deprived him of sleep, causing him unnecessary suffering. Magistrate Farrington denied Cox bail on the latest charge and remanded him to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
