The Georgia indictment follows Gardiner’s arrest on Election Day after an aircraft carrying him from Marsh Harbour, Abaco, to Grand Bahama crashed off the Florida coast. That indictment accuses Bahamian officials, including law enforcement officers, of helping facilitate drug trafficking operations.
