CLEMSON, S.C. - Assistant Head Coach Nick Schnabel is stepping down to pursue other interests after serving as Clemson’s hitting coach, infielders coach and recruiting coordinator since the 2023 season.
"I want to thank every player for their hard work and the memories we'll always share," said Schnabel.
In four seasons at Clemson, Schnabel (pronounced SHNAHB-ull) helped the Tigers to 164 victories, an average of 41 per season.
Schnabel served on Head Coach Erik Bakich’s staff at Michigan from 2013-22 and played alongside Bakich at East Carolina in 1999 and 2000 under late Head Coach Keith LeClair.
“For 23 years, Nick Schnabel has poured himself into college baseball with a work ethic that has never wavered and a standard that has lifted everyone around him,” said Bakich.
