Easthampton native and Williston product, Colin Larson, was selected as the Cape Cod Baseball League’s John J. Claffey Award winner as the most outstanding New England player, on Wednesday. Larson is currently an outfielder for the Harwich Mariners and batted .264 with 24 runs scored during the regular season. The Mariners advanced to the second round of the playoffs Wednesday after sweeping the Brewster Whitecaps. At Williston, Larson graduated as the program’s all-time hits leader in 2024 with 78.
