Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has taken a swipe at the Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, hours after the governor mocked his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, over his frequent dancing at public events. A video circulating on social media, showed Okpebholo addressing supporters at a political gathering, where he criticised Adeleke’s leadership style while urging residents not to vote for him. Speaking at the event, Okpebholo mocked Adeleke over his habit of dancing at official functions. Before he takes breakfast he will dance,” Okpebholo said. Davido has not issued any further statement regarding the post, while Governor Okpebholo is yet to publicly respond to the singer’s reaction at the time of filing this report.
