The Antigua National Taxi Association (ANTA) has re-elected Gregory Shoy “Driftwood” Athill as president following its biennial general election held Aug. 5.
Athill, who led the “Dedicated to Excellence” team, secured a decisive victory over the other contenders, earning a second term at the helm of the association.
First elected in 2024 under the theme “Restructure and Unity,” Athill has spent the past two years overseeing efforts to strengthen ANTA’s finances and organisational structure.
Athill also thanked the government and Prime Minister Gaston Browne, highlighting a commitment to provide land to the association through the Ministry of Agriculture.
He also acknowledged Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez and the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority for their continued partnership with the association.
