William Daniel Yarberry, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he threatended to “beat the a****” of three police officers during a traffic stop on Burnett Ferry Road. Officers said that Yarberry was pulled over for driving on a suspended license. Reports went on to say that when officers attempted to place Yarberry under arrest he refused to comply and had to be forcefully taken into custody. Yarberry is charged with terroristic threats/acts, obstruction and driving on a suspended license.
