Danny Carey has backed out of a fall tour with BEAT to focus on Tool. He plays drums for the King Crimson tribute group when he can, but Terry Bozzio will take his place on the upcoming shows. BEAT bassist Tony Levin talked about the switch Monday. "As Adrian Belew, Steve Vai and Tony Levin approach the band's upcoming activity, Terry Bozzio enters the fold behind the kit," Levin wrote on social media. "Danny Carey remains an important part of the BEAT family, and simply his Tool commitments prevent him from being available for this upcoming run in the Fall."
