The event was organised by 'Mind over Moors,' and the team did a good job of looking after everyone. On the other side of the world, Simon Tyrrell joined 2,924 runners in the Sunshine Coast Marathon in Australia. Shirley Tyrrell also had an excellent run in the 10k and exceeded her expectations by crossing the finish line in 1 hour and 4 minutes. The Jane Tomlinson York 10k also took place this weekend. The race starts and finishes on the Knavesmire and takes runners through the heart of York, passing Clifford’s Tower and the Minster.
