Goole’s new banners, bunting, and window stickers are part of a visual upgrade designed by artist Kim Huball, who worked closely with residents to reflect what matters most to the community. Residents can give their views on the artwork, which features at locations including the library, shops and lampposts, either in-person or online. The first 500 survey respondents have a chance to secure a limited edition Goole tote bag. In her research, Ms Huball met with individuals and groups to discover what makes Goole special, then developed a bespoke colour palette for the town. Her designs include familiar landmarks such as the “salt & pepper” water towers, the Boat Hoist, and the newly Grade II listed Clock Tower.
