A suspect has been charged in connection with an attempted murder at a block of flats in Aberdeen. Emergency services were called to Bedford Road in the Kittybrewster area of the city on the afternoon of Sunday, August 1. Officers found a man injured, who was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. Police have confirmed a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged and appeared in court this week. A spokesperson said: “A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Bedford Road, Aberdeen, around 2.40pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
