A government-backed survey has revealed that the vast majority of online casino players in Ukraine now prefer licensed operators. The survey, published on Wednesday, surveyed 2,676 online casino users through an online CAWI (Computer-Assisted Web Interview) methodology. The online casino audience was generally representative of middle-income, educated Ukrainians rather than confined to any particular social stratum. PlayCity has just completed its inaugural year as Ukraine’s gambling regulator, where it issued 250 licences to operators, lottery and suppliers.
