Due to its massive workforce and prominent technology-services sector, India is experiencing the largest absolute impact from artificial intelligence developments, positioning the nation as ground zero for evaluating workplace transformations. Highlighting these trends further, a Livemint report notes that India recorded 83,100 AI-related hires during this period, compared with 31,921 layoffs and attrition. AI Labour Market Trends and Two-Tier ShiftsThe integration of artificial intelligence is actively shaping a two-tier labour market in developing technology hubs. Across the wider Asian region, AI-related hiring reached 130,758 positions, with more than 90 percent concentrated in technology.
