S4C has announced the appointment of Seiriol Dawes-Hughes as its new Sports Commissioner. He was previously Executive Producer of Sgorio, S4C’s flagship football programme, produced by Rondo Media. The announcement follows Sue Butler’s decision to step down from her role as S4C’s Sports Commissioner after twelve years at the helm. Dawes-Hughes commented: “I am very much looking forward to joining S4C at an exciting time for the channel. S4C’s Chief Content Officer, Llion Iwan, added: “We are delighted that Seiriol Dawes-Hughes is joining S4C’s commissioning team, bringing exceptional experience as a producer as well as a deep and insightful understanding of the digital landscape.
