It’s no secret that Google has been developing a native App Lock feature for Android. The latest Android Canary gives a look at the App Lock featureSpotted by Android Authority, Android Canary version 2608 introduces the App Lock feature, which lets users secure apps on their devices. Once users open the App Lock section, they will see an “Add screen lock” option, which lets them set a PIN, pattern, or password. Google explains the limitations of using the App Lock feature. As of now, it’s unclear when Google will release the App Lock feature to the public.
