THE area of Glenmore, the worst affected by the wildfire in the Cairngorms, has reopened to the public. The Cairngorms National Park Authority’s chief executive Grant Moir has said it will be a big boost to local businesses. It is such great news for local businesses, communities and everyone looking forward to spending time in this special part of the National Park. “We look forward to welcoming visitors to Glenmore and encourage everyone to support local businesses as they continue on the road to recovery.” The reopening coincides with news that The Scottish Government has pledged £3m to support businesses affected by the wildfire.
