FIFERS will be able to get to the Edinburgh festivals easier this month thanks to faster and more frequent Stagecoach services. Buses from Fife to Edinburgh will run up to every ten minutes from Fife’s largest commuter areas, with travel from Ferrytoll Park and Ride to Edinburgh taking 30 minutes. DayReturn fares begin at £7.40 with under-22s also being able to take advantage of The Scottish Government’s free bus scheme. Stagecoach South Scotland’s managing director Fiona Doherty has urged Fifers to use the buses to get into Edinburgh rather than driving. Additionally, Stagecoach has pledged to support their busiest services as demand increases with millions expected to attend the capital.
