By Olusesan LaoyeThe ancient town of Komu in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State came alive with celebration as His Royal Majesty, Oba Jonah Olagboyega Awujoola, Kolade II, was officially crowned the new Oniro of Komu. The coronation and presentation of the staff of office were performed by Oyo State Governor, Engr. In his address, Governor Makinde, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Barr. In his acceptance and thanksgiving speech, the Oniro of Komu, Oba Jonah Olagboyega Awujoola, Kolade II, expressed gratitude to God for making the occasion a reality. He also thanked Governor Makinde for his respect for Yoruba tradition and for ensuring the successful completion of the coronation process.
