After almost a year at the helm of the Broken Cross in Rudheath, Rob and Sammi Garland are celebrating after it was named Greene King's Food Pub of the Year. The reopened in October last year, after undergoing a month-long refurbishment, and has since gone from strength to strength. Ahead of the refurbishment last year, the Broken Cross became part of Greene King’s new Hive Pubs franchise scheme. The Pub Partners Franchise Awards recognise the very best of Greene King Pub Partners’ franchisees, who operate Hive and Nest pubs in partnership with Greene King.
