Warren’s Crypto Line in the Sand: Federal Rules Yes, Loophole-Ridden CLARITY Act No

Senator Elizabeth Warren is not completely opposing crypto control.
She backs a federal architecture for digital assets but strongly rejects the present version of the CLARITY Act on the grounds that it benefits the business while neglecting morals, financial stability, national security, and investors.
Her central point is obvious: significant laws are required but not this bill in its current form.
While Republicans still advocate the bill as necessary for market clarity, the minority staff issued their study on August 5.
Warren's position increases the political cost of approval and so increases the possibility of major changes or bipartisan compromises before any agreement moves forward.
