A regional agency has created a new virtual tool that shows zoning data, developable land inventory, feasibility analysis and parcel-level housing projections all in one place. The Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) recently launched Build Here, Puget Sound!, which has housing data for Snohomish, King, Kitsap and Pierce counties. Upon landing on the Build Here tool site, users can browse a data portal and soft site tool. The soft site tool allows users to explore parcels where new housing developments can best support local housing needs. Its mission is to “advance solutions to achieve a thriving, racially equitable, and sustainable central Puget Sound region through leadership, visionary planning, and collaboration,” according to its website.
