Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland) has started construction on a $322 million expansion of Avon Hospital in Avon, Ohio, according to spectrum1news.com. The project adds 250,000 square feet to the hospital and increases access to patient services. Plans call for a larger emergency department (ED) with imaging and diagnostic capabilities, an expanded intensive care unit (ICU), increased surgical services, and an addition to the existing cancer center with infusion space.
