Published 2:10 am Friday, August 7, 2026VICTORIA — Walter Kerr passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 76. Walter graduated from Antonian College Preparatory High School in San Antonio, Texas, in 1968. After two years of service in the Air Force, Walter began a new chapter in his life and moved to Victoria, Texas, where he worked as a bank officer at Victoria Bank & Trust Co. Walter is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Kerr, his sons, Nathan (Laura) Kerr, of Houston, TX, Michael (Audri) Kerr, of Buda, TX; his daughter, Kelsey Kerr, of Victoria, TX; and his grandson, Hatch, of Houston, TX. He is also survived by his brothers, Andy (Ginny) Kerr, of San Antonio, TX; Ken (Vivian) Kerr, of Dallas, TX; and his sisters, Carole Linton and Liz (Tullis) Thomas, of San Antonio, TX.
