Snake avoidance training set Aug. 29 at One Shot Retriever kennels in Frankston could help dogs from getting bit by rattlesnake, others. There are two fronts dog owners, whether hunters or just pet owners who find themselves in snake country, can take. For that, One Shot Retrievers Kennel in Frankston will be holding a snake avoidance clinic beginning at 8 a.m. August 29. Conducted by experienced snake avoidance trainer Wayne Lain, the course uses all the dog’s senses, sight, sound and smell. Cost of the snake avoidance training is $125 cash, and open to any species of dog.
