Online and virtual healthcare software vendor KYT Laboratories has been hit with penalties and back-pay orders totalling $39,453 after failing to comply with a Fair Work Ombudsman notice requiring it to repay outstanding employee entitlements. The notice required the Melbourne-based independent software vendor (ISV), which traded as Keytrust Laboratories and Keytrust CollabCare, to calculate and repay entitlements owed to a full-time IT worker employed between 2014 and 2022. However, the company failed to comply with the direction. After the company failed to comply with the notice, the Fair Work Ombudsman commenced legal action.
