NEW membership packages for Aquasplash users have been unveiled ahead of the swimming centre’s transfer to being managed directly by the government this autumn. The government said the changes were intended to create a “simpler, more consistent” membership offer across all Active facilities, allowing customers to choose the package that best suits their needs. Under the new pricing structure, current Aquasplash members will be able to transfer to what the government described as “near-equivalent” Active memberships. The pricing changes also include reductions for pay-as-you-go swimming. The pricing changes come as more than £250,000 is being invested in Aquasplash’s infrastructure during 2026, with further investment expected next year to improve service quality and secure the centre’s long-term future.
