No bail for man charged with ‘Savage’ murder

RHYSE HENRYFront PageA Georgetown man, whose lawyer requested bail on the same premise as the historic Antonique Thomas ruling, was denied bail after he allegedly shot a man to death.
While the matter was laid indictably, lawyer Grant Connell, sought to take a page from the book of the legal team that represented Antonique Thomas, who was recently granted a historic EC$25,000 bail for murder by High Court Judge, Justice Gertel Thom at the High Court on July 23, 2026.
Police investigative reports in Thomas’ case revealed that the 16-year-old allegedly struck 65-year-old Winston McMillan on the head with a two-by-four piece of wood during a physical altercation.
