SingHealth has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia's KPJ Healthcare Berhad to collaborate in clinical research, education, medical simulation, and healthcare innovation. The MoU links SingHealth's network with KPJ Healthcare's nationwide network under the KPJ Health System, Malaysia's first private Academic Health System. Five strategic areas are covered, including Clinical Education and Workforce Development, Research and Innovation, Clinical Collaboration, Digital Health & AI, and Knowledge Exchange. Initial activities will include fellowships, specialist attachments, academic exchanges, joint research, scientific publications, conferences, leadership development, medical simulation, and co-management of complex clinical cases. For KPJ, the tie-up feeds into its Future Health Institute, the platform that integrates practice, education, research, and innovation across its hospital network.
