Total income rose 18% to $4.17b during the quarter. Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited’s (OCBC) net profit grew 22% to $2.22b in the second quarter of 2026, up from $1.82b a year earlier. However, net interest income slipped 1% to $2.26b as net interest margin narrowed by 22 basis points to 1.7% in a lower interest rate environment. For the first half, OCBC’s net profit grew 13% to $4.19b, whilst total income rose 11% to $8b. Wealth management income went up by 27% to $3.29b and accounted for 41% of the bank’s total income.
