TAQA Geothermal and Strataphy have entered a strategic agreement, combining strengths to deploy geothermal cooling in Saudi Arabia at a larger scale. TAQA Geothermal and Strataphy have announced the establishment of a strategic partnership to deploy geothermal and ground-energy cooling solutions across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The collaboration combines TAQA Geothermal’ s project development, commercial structuring, and integrated project management capabilities with Strataphy’s PrimeLoop® technology and technical expertise. “This collaboration represents an important milestone in the journey to establish geothermal cooling solutions in Saudi Arabia,” said Meshary Al-Ayed, Chief Executive Officer of TAQA Geothermal. Founded in 2023, TAQA Geothermal is a joint venture of TAQA and Reykjavik Geothermal with the goal of exploring and developing geothermal opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
