NEW DELHI: The Department of Pharmaceuticals, under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, is set to host the 9th edition of India Medical Device 2026 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on August 7 and 8. The major event aims to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, healthcare professionals, researchers, start-ups, and investors to chart the future of India’s rapidly growing medical devices sector. Technology leadership in high-impact medical devices and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare. Leading MedTech giants, including GE HealthCare, Abbott Healthcare, Philips India, Medtronic India, Johnson & Johnson MedTech, and Hindustan Syringes & Medical Devices Ltd., are expected to participate. The event will also showcase emerging technologies and start-up innovations aimed at strengthening India’s globally competitive medical devices ecosystem, directly aligning with the overarching vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
