As if landing defenseman Landon DuPont wasn’t enough, the Michigan hockey team continues to build on its program. On Thursday, Wolverines coach Brandon Naurato announced the hiring of Andrew Brewer, who will serve as the general manager of the Michigan hockey program. “As college hockey continues to evolve, adding a General Manager is an important step in positioning our program for long-term success. His duties as general manager include oversight of hockey operations, roster management and long-term program planning. “Michigan Hockey has an incredible tradition, an internationally respected brand and an unwavering commitment to excellence” Brewer said.
