Samsung could unveil the Galaxy S26 FE next month, and the device is expected to exclusively use the company's in-house Exynos chipset.
However, the phone's Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification has revealed an interesting mix of Samsung and Qualcomm hardware.
Galaxy S26 FE uses Exynos 5G modem and a Qualcomm Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chipThe Galaxy S26 FE recently received FCC certification, and its RF exposure test documents reveal that the phone uses Samsung System LSI (S.LSI) hardware for WWAN (3G/4G/5G) connectivity and Qualcomm FastConnect hardware for WLAN (Wi-Fi) connectivity.
As a result, it appears that global and US variants of the Galaxy S26 FE will pair an Exynos cellular modem with a Qualcomm chip for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
