Police, the Police Special Task Force (STF), Riot Control Unit and Sri Lanka Air Force have been called in to control the unrest. UPDATE – 11:15 AM:Unrest has broken out at the Pallansena Open Prison Camp in Dalupotha, Negombo. A group of inmates is also reported to have climbed onto the roof of the prison. Following the unrest at Negombo Prison last month, a group of inmates who had been held there was transferred to the Pallansena Open Prison Camp.
