(ABC 6 News) — Fair season is in full swing in Minnesota, and it’s no different in Albert Lea as the Freeborn County Fair got underway this week. Throughout the vendor stalls, there are all sorts of different stories to be told. One man said he basically grew up in the food truck his father started in the area 50 years ago, which now sits at the fair. The ties to the area run deep for Jeremy Brue, who said he watched and helped his parents run their business, Bruno’s, and now, he is raising his twin daughters in the same way. Brue lost his father to cancer nine years ago, but he has maintained his father’s legacy and become a regular at the Freeborn County Fair.
