(ABC 6 News) — There are over 1000 Automatic License Plate Readers, or ALPRs, in Minnesota and Iowa, and the majority of them are owned by the company Flock Safety. They do not record or store video,” Flock Safety said in a statement. Flock Safety has been criticized for how it stores and allows other agencies to access license plate data.
